Our child-led summer program is what summer is all about!

Self-paced and open-ended, children are welcomed to explore and create in our space. Best for ages 4-8, though older children are always welcome!

Days will begin at JEAN SIBELIUS PARK, for a morning of outdoor play, games, and art making en plein air. Camper’s families will be emailed with specific drop off details closer to the start date.

Then we will walk back to GATHERING WILD after lunch, for an afternoon of open ended exploration of both our indoor studio and backyard mud kitchen.

Children will have access to engaging sensory materials, unique art mediums, and interesting tools.

Children are welcomed to flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces at their own pace. Mixed age grouping allows children to develop leadership skills and promotes peer-to-peer learning. The facilitators love to step back and let the magic happen.

On each day, your child might..

Create using: clay, plasticine, playdough, paper mache, gelli printing, cyanotypes, hot glue guns, hammers & nails, various types of paint & mark making tools (pastels, charcoal, crayons, paint sticks, watercolours, acrylics..)

Explore: our mud kitchen, potion making, slime labs, tie dyeing, collaborative art projects, and MUCH MUCH MORE!

Campers are asked to bring their snack, waterbottle and change of clothes with them daily!

Join us for a magical summer filled with art & play!

We cannot offer refunds but you can reschedule 1 time subject to a rescheduling fee of $50.00.

Our program consists of 15 curious children and 2 educators.

“My 4 year old had a wonderful experience at this summer camp program. The staff were warm, nurturing, and highly skilled at managing the group of youngsters. I’ve already recommended it to a friend and will continue to do so!”
