Aliah Mcevoy (she/they)
EXPERIENCED CAREGIVER, artist
Aliah has a deep love for expressive arts, and the healing community that comes with it. She started off babysitting friends and family from a young age, had a face painting booth at the local farmers market, and later on worked as a support worker for women and children fleeing violence.
She has been involved in community musical theatre and stage performance since the age of 6, where she got her start in the backseat of their fathers car making up songs.
She has a passion for working with children and youth and loves to see the way art based programming allows people of all ages to explore themselves and connect with one another. Seeing the way children piece together their thoughts through creative play and art is a constant inspiration.
You can find Aliah in the Drama Lab and Wild Club JR & SR
toni ashdown
experienced caregiver
Hi Gathering Wild campers! I am so excited to have a creative & fun summer together. I love working with kids, and I bring my experience as a Nanny to work with me every day to make sure everyone is feeling excited, included, and confident for all projects & activities I facilitate! I personally love to draw and paint in my own time, but a little birdy told me that this summer we’ll all get to do even more fun activities! I am confident that this summer will be our best yet at Gathering Wild, and I can’t wait to meet everyone!
You can find Toni at Play Lab, facilitating Birthday Parties & Kids Night Out, and in Camps!
