Our Messy Studio is a caregiver-child interactive program for children 0-5 (though older kids are always welcome!
During Messy Studio, children and their grown-ups are encouraged to let their imagination and creativity run wild!

Duration: 1 hour per session
Schedule: 8 weeks
Transition Time:
During the last 20 minutes, our staff will begin tidying up the bins, allowing families to transition their children and clean them up after a wonderfully messy play session.

Sensory Bins & Art Mediums: Each week, we explore different sensory bins and art mediums. From splatter painting, spin art and printmaking to clay exploration, there’s always something new and exciting.
Taste-Safe Options: We provide taste-safe sensory bins for babies, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for our youngest participants.
Rotating Sensory Bins: Children will have the opportunity to pour, dump, and scoop through a variety of sensory materials such as rainbow rice, colored chickpeas, goop, playdough, and birdseed and so much more. .

Cognitive Development: Messy play stimulates curiosity and encourages children to explore and experiment, fostering cognitive growth and problem-solving skills.
Fine Motor Skills: Activities like pouring, scooping, and manipulating different materials help develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Sensory Integration: Engaging with various textures, colors, and materials enhances sensory processing and integration, which is crucial for overall development.
Language Development: Describing their actions and experiences during messy play helps children expand their vocabulary and improve communication skills.
Emotional Expression: Messy play provides a safe outlet for children to express their emotions and creativity, promoting emotional well-being.
Social Skills: Interacting with peers and family members during play helps children develop social skills, build friendships, and learn cooperation and sharing. Over the 8 weeks, children and families will have plenty of time to form friendships and bonds, fostering a sense of community.
Hand-Eye Coordination: Activities are designed to help children develop their hand-eye coordination.
Investigation & Problem-Solving: Through creative play, children will enhance their investigation and problem-solving skills.

Skill Mastery: Repetition allows children to practice and refine their skills, leading to mastery and confidence in their abilities.
Memory and Learning: Repeated activities help reinforce learning and improve memory retention, making it easier for children to recall and apply what they’ve learned.

Coffee: Enjoy a cup of coffee while your children explore and create.
Cameras are welcome, but we kindly request no scrolling, emails, phone calls, or video calls during your visit.
Photography:
Families are welcome to take pictures of their children during the class. However, please ask for permission before taking pictures of others.
Please note: if a session does not fill up, you will be offered a space in another class, a credit, or a refund.
