The challenge families face

Early childhood can feel busy and overstimulating, with so many demands on both children and caregivers. In the midst of it all, children flourish when learning is rhythmic, relational, and repeated.

Gathering Songs offers a calm, joyful space to slow down, connect, and share meaningful moments together through music and play.

A gentle, supportive solution

Gathering Songs offers a slower, more intentional alternative.

In this guided song circle, families come together to sing familiar and new songs, enjoy felt stories, and participate in simple finger plays. Our usual messy play stations are closed during this class so everyone can stay in the moment—focused on each other, the music, and the shared experience.

To support presence and reduce distraction, the space is thoughtfully prepared with wall coverings, allowing both children and adults to relax and fully engage.

Coffee is available on site, because connection matters for caregivers too.

Why singing together matters

Singing is one of the most powerful tools for early learning—and it works best when done together.

Language Development
Songs introduce rhythm, repetition, and rich vocabulary. Singing helps children hear sounds more clearly, recognize patterns in language, and build early communication skills.

Connection & Belonging
When families sing together, children feel seen, safe, and connected. Group singing builds a sense of community and helps children experience the joy of being part of something shared.

Fine Motor Growth
Finger plays and simple movements support hand strength, coordination, and control—important foundations for writing, self‑help skills, and creative expression.

Emotional Regulation
Music naturally supports calm, focus, and emotional expression. Singing together can help children settle their bodies while strengthening attachment with their caregivers.
