Gathering Songs

A place to slow down, sing together, and feel connected

Gathering Songs is a gentle & playful, 45-minute guitar-led song circle for children and their caregivers to come together, slow down, and share meaningful moments through music.

This class is intentionally no messy play. Our usual messy stations are closed so families can stay fully present—singing, moving, and connecting without distraction. Coffee is available on site, inviting caregivers to settle in and enjoy the experience too.

Why Singing Together Matters

Singing is one of the most powerful and accessible tools for early childhood learning—and it works best when shared.

Through group singing, children naturally develop:

Language & communication skills

Memory & attention

Emotional regulation
Fine motor development

A gentle, supportive solution

Gathering Songs offers a slower, more intentional alternative.

In this guided song circle, families come together to sing familiar and new songs, enjoy felt stories, and participate in simple finger plays. Our usual messy play stations are closed during this class so everyone can stay in the moment—focused on each other, the music, and the shared experience.

To support presence and reduce distraction, the space is thoughtfully prepared with wall coverings, allowing both children and adults to relax and fully engage.

Coffee is available on site, because connection matters for caregivers too.
