We had our daughter's 6th birthday at Gathering Wild, using the outdoor space on a sunny day. The kids (ages 4-6) absolutely loved it! There was an endless supply of activities (paint, potions, costumes, etc...) for them to try, with zero mess for me to clean up at the end. I would absolutely book it again for a fun and easy birthday!

Unique Art and Music Filled Birthday Parties for Creative Kids!

  • Parties are two hours in length and cost 525+HST.

    We can accommodate a maximum of 24 people. 12 Adults & 12 children. For drop off parties for children 4+ we can accommodate a maximum of 15 kids & 9 adults. No exceptions- sorry we are a cozy space.

    You will have access to our playful indoor and outdoor space. We have a painting room, sensory table, makers stations, blocks, dress-up and so much more!

    What’s Included?

    *We do not offer refunds. We are happy to offer 1 reschedule date with a $75.00 admin fee. This will be charged automatically upon rescheduling.

  • Indoor sensory table, blocks, magna tiles, trains, costumes, instruments, massive plexiglass painting station. All parties include access to our open-ended art centre! Paints, glue, paper, loose parts, drawing materials…and so much more!

  • Huge sandbox, mud kitchen, an outdoor obstacle course with tires and scrap wood for building, instruments and costumes (weather permitting), plexiglass painting station…and so much more!

  • We decorate, set-up and clean up!

    We hang a birthday banner and paint a birthday sign for your kiddos special day! We will hang festive bunting throughout the space to make the day feel extra special!

    We have everything you need! Plates, cutlery, even a lighter for the birthday cake!

  • Regular Parties

    12 chidren and up to 12 adults.

    For children ages 4+, we highly recommend “drop off” parties. This allows more space for the children to play!

    We can have a maximum of 15 children, and/or 24 people in the space.

  • Host Parents are required to stay for parties at GW and to help supervise throughout the party.

    Please ensure that all of your guests of filled in our waiver prior to your party. If any guests require extra support during the party, please let us know ahead of time so we can make this a great day for everyone!

    We strongly encourage parents of children 4+ to drop off!

    PARTY INVITATION

Every party includes 1 add-on! Don’t see something that interests you? Let us know and we can try something new!

  • Children have unlimited coloured vinegar and baking soda to create oodles of potions! Open-ended and a BLAST!

  • Each child gets to choose their own colour make their own slime! Great for 4+

  • Bring your own piece of clothing to tie-dye using our liquid watercolours!

  • Create a unique momento from your child’s birthday. Throughout the party children get to paint on the canvas using various tools to create a unqiue design!

  • Includes a wooden peg person, write and a wide variety of plasticine colours to use.

  • Paint your own crown! Crowns come with a snap closure!

  • Make your own pom poms with us!

  • For ages 5+! Children get to create their on unique structure using loose parts and glue guns!

  • 30 minute guitar-led singalong with instrument, props and puppets!

  • Each child gets to paint an 8”x10” canvas using either acrylic or tempera paints, along with access to our maker wall!

The Party Formula

  • PLAY PLAY PLAY. Families arrive and jump right into play. Our easels, sensory tables, makers station, block area, costumes, sandbox, mud kitchen EVERYTHING IS OPEN! Your extensions will be offered 15 min into the start of the party!

  • Once the kids have had plenty of opportunity to play we will start to transition into a dance party ( or singalong if you opted for that extension)! Wanna skip the dance party? No problem-kids can keep playing!

  • If you’re planning on serving food now is the time to start! Tables will be set inside the playroom with tablecloths and chairs. We will help facilitate hand washing.

    After food , let’s get to dessert! We can sing Happy Birthday together and eat some delicious treats! TIP we strongly recommend cupcakes or anything else single serve. Cutting the cake and serving eats away ALOT of time and we don’t want families to feel rushed!

  • Our staff will let you know that there is 10 minutes left in your party :)! We will read the classic “Moira’s Birthday” for the end of the party! Our sensory bins will be closed and things will be winding down. Wanna skip the story? No problem just let us know! If kids hands are messy from food now would be a good time to start washing them! Now is also a good time to gather your loot bags and get ready to pass them out in the cubby area! That’s a great way to transition to the end of the party.

  • Now is the time to say see you soon to your guests :)! It’s very tempting to stay and chat with parents and for the kids to stay and play but sadly the party does have to end. Perhaps suggest meeting at the park or at a coffee shop! We don’t want to rush families out BUT we do host two birthdays on the weekends and we need to get the space spick and span for the next kiddo! Host parents have another 15 minutes after the two- hour mark to gather presents and any extra food they need to bring home with them !

Had my daughter’s 2nd birthday party there and it was a hit. We had invited 5 other toddlers and their parents, and it was about the right size. We have our hands full with 2 under 2, so it was important to find a location where we could just show up and everything would be taken care of. Kylie was great in asking the right questions and getting things set up for us the way we wanted. We opted for Kylie Sing-Along as well as catering, which freed up our time to interact with other parents. The kids had so much fun the only time there was a meltdown was when it was time to go home. I highly recommend this place for toddler birthdays!
